BusyBeeEducation Speaker: Joseph Lee Founder Joseph was born and raised in Toronto Canada and at a very young age he wanted to do his own business. He took advantage of sample goods from China and selling them at a mark up at the age of 13. After finishing university he worked for 2 more years in Toronto and made the move to follow his entrepreneurial spirit to China and look for opportunities. He started working part time for his uncle in the textile business and also worked as an English teacher for pocket money. This is where he found such an under developed market and the opportunity arose. He met his first business partner at the training centre he first worked at and after 1 year they came out and started an English summer camp. After the 2nd summer camp Busy Bee Education was born.
After 1 month of starting the business his partner went back to America and never came back but Joseph was determined to continue and follow his passion to help develop a better early childhood education centre for the local children in China. During this time he also partnered with his sister, which was an aspiring fashion designer at the time, to follow her dreams and come to China as well. Today, Busy Bee Education has 2 locations and growing, and his sister’s fashion brand is being noticed and being sold in Canada, U.S. and China. HappyGolf Speaker: Danielle Dan Founder/General Manager
