PPAR Adoptable Kitten of October 2014: Sweeti! / Non-profit
Age: About 4 months old
Health: Treated for fleas and worms. Vaccinated.
The story of Sweeti: with compassion and help there is always a chance!
It was a quiet evening in early June when the Ayi from PPAR discovered a newly-born kitten staying at the entrance of the PPAR Shelter. The kitten didn't make a sound, she was just lying on the ground. The Ayi approached the kitten and then discovered that her left leg was swollen and injured. The kitten was taken to the vet hospital immediately, but the vet said the leg was terribly injured and it was deeply infected! The vet suggested amputating the leg just in case of blood poisoning.
The volunteers of PPAR thought it was too risky for this kitten to get an amputation performed since she was too little. It took a long time to see the progress that the kitten made, but she really wanted to survive! And even the vet doctor thought it was a miracle to see the infected leg getting healed little by little.
The kitten kept its leg, and it's getting better and better with the loving care of the PPAR volunteers. She is so beautiful and loveable!
We gave this kitten the name Sweeti. We want her to have a sweet and happy future after such painful start in life.
