From July 28, Camelia Restaurant at the Four Seasons Hotel Pudong in Shanghai debuts with favorite flavors from Italy.  A brief closure of barely a week sees the firing up of a brand new signature pizza oven, visibly located in the restaurant alongside the new antipasti buffet.  Simultaneously, an aperitivo bar is richly stocked to round off what makes a classic Italian eatery.  All else that our guests have come to favor about Camelia, we don't dare changing.

Camelia'sbuonacucina encompasses all that's loved about a wonderful neighborhood restaurant.  Arrive to the scents of focaccia, truffle and mascarpone, select flavorful antipasti  followed by pizza, pasta and an oh so tender bisteccafiorentina.  Bring your family, friends, colleagues or a date for a white peach bellini or a house matured negroni while dipping into a sinfully tempting tiramisu and bistecca.  The must-try Frangelico Sour with its bright citrus notes and the froth of fresh egg white is as novel as it is classically Italian.

Afternoons are good for a twist on what is known of 'Afternoon Tea' - being Italian, a fashionable element is essential for the hours after lunch.  Brunch on Sundays delivers the same authentically Italian dishes made from only the best ingredients - simple and fresh.

An exquisite (not only) Italian wine list is worth mentioning, if only for the fact that in "vino lies veritas", particularly when served by China's star sommelier, Ying Guo.
