Ring in the Year of the Monkey with Kempinski Hotel Haitang Bay Sanya’s delicious signature Chinese culinary delights atthe award-winning restaurant Yuen Court and international restaurant Café K. A series of traditional Chinese activities will also be held to bring inthe festival.
There is an old saying from ancient times that states,“Food is the paramount necessity of the people.”The Spring Festival menu at Yuen Court features Poached Chicken with Sichuan Sesame Spicy Sauce, Sautéed Angus Beef with Scallions, Steamed Fried Rice Coated with Lotus Leaf and more. Available for lunch and dinner, the menus are perfect for extended family gatherings of up to ten guests. Prepared with freshly sourced ingredients, the Spring Festival menu will be available from 7-14 February 2016 at Yuen Court.

Apart from traditional Chinese cuisine, Café K will offera Spring Festival international buffet for dinner. Inclusive of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, the buffet will feature special Spring Festival items as well as a wide selection of Asian and European cuisines, live cooking stations and deliciousdesserts available from 8-13 February 2016.

Besides the multiple choices for gourmet guests, the hotel will hold the Lion Dance & Gong and Drum Performance in the drop-off lobby at9:38a.m. on 8 February 2016. All guests and hotel associates are invited to participate in the event and celebrate Chinese New Year. The general manager and senior hotel management will click the lions' eyes to wake them up, and then the lions will jump and dance throughout the gong and drum performance. This performance is one of the most traditional folk arts of Hainan, featuring strong rhythm and a unique artistic style that conveys the best wishes of the public. The lion dance is usually performed during Chinese New Year and other Chinese traditional, cultural and religious festivals. It is considered the significant symbol of good luck and prosperity in China. Through this celebration, people celebrate the New Year and wish for all to have a prosperous year ahead.
The hotel will also provide monkey dolls for all guestswho check-in on 7 February. The game experts designed a series of indoor and outdoor activities, including golf putting lessons, yoga, CS Shooting, and Spring Festival couplet writing for both kids and adults to discover and have fun on their vacation. Hainan Bonfire and Bamboo Dancing was created for families to create memorable moments together.
