adidas teams up with Ning Chang to launch the 2016 “I’m here to create” campaign

adidas today launched the 2016 “I'm Here to Create” campaign with actress Ning Chang. Held at the adidas “Sportswear Collective” store in Jing'an District's Crystal Galleria mall, the event celebrated creativity in sport, a trend that is inspiring women across the globe. In 2016, adidas is focused on becoming a stronger part of women's lives by creating a more personalized sports experience.

For the arrival of the new “I'm Here to Create” campaign, adidas teamed up with a host of influential women including Ning, world-class tennis star Coco Xu, international track and field champion Liu Hong, and the China women’s national volleyball team. The campaign shares authentic stories of real athletes to not only inspire women to express themselves, but to help them discover the endless possibilities when they embrace creativity in sport.

“As sports participation continues to increase in China, adidas is raising the ante and encouraging women to become stronger, more empowered athletes,” said Marc Le Roux, VP Sport Performance, adidas Group Greater China. “The “I’m Here to Create” campaign has an incredible squad of women with a really diverse and relatable group of storylines. We will continue to celebrate athletes who reshape traditional views of sport through creativity this year.”  '

The women's training collection is adidas’ largest product launch for the beginning of 2016. During the reveal of the new season’s training collection at the event, Ning shared her journey of determination and self-creation in sport. In the TV commercial, Ning is seen running and taking part in Muay Thai, showing a different side of herself from her usual roles. Between being an outstanding law student and forging a successful career in the entertainment world, Ning has always been a "creator" who continually challenges herself. She is a keen yoga enthusiast, jogs through each new city she visits, participates in extreme sports at the tips of the earth, and has survived in the wild with Bear Grylls. Ning is the embodiment of a unique spirit and truly represents the new adidas campaign.

During the launch event, Ning kicked-off an exclusive and personalized training class to experience adidas’ new products. Under the guidance of professional adidas coaches, consumers joined Ning and participated in an intensive boxing training session. The online campaign will officially launch on March 7.

This season's new adidas women training products bring a more creative angle to women’s training gear. The Pure Boost X running shoe, a highlight of the line, features all-sole Boost cushioning technology and original dynamic fit technology. The uppers are made from adaptive stretch mesh that cocoons the runner's feet and adapts to all arch types. In addition, the bright colorways and popular print elements are combined with the foundation of the classic three stripes to bring women more choices. The sports underwear and leggings feature Clima? fabric technology and new sewing techniques, and boast superb comfort thanks to their breathability.
