On December 23rd, 2017, the Southern United States Trade Association (SUSTA) held its opening ceremony for the American Food Festival at the Parkson Supermarket in Sincere Plaza. SUSTA in-market representatives Roger Zhang and Flora Zhang, as well as Mr. Cao Wei from Parkson Supermarket, hosted the ceremony and showcased and share the many high quality U.S. food and beverage with consumers. There were festive dancing and tasting offerings at the ceremony to help bring forth the unique flavors of classic American foods.
The United States is a major exporter of agricultural products, ranking first in many exporting categories. During this American Food Festival, the two Parkson Supermarket locations are offering over 400 SKUs of American food such as snacks, sauces, juice and beverage, wine, fresh fruits and meat. In addition, authentic U.S. beef will be cooked onsite by a special guest chef.
Southern United States Trade Association is a non-profit organization that facilitates trade between small to medium-sized southern U.S. companies and overseas importers. Since 1973, SUSTA has worked with the Departments of Agriculture of the 15 southern states and Puerto Rico to promote the export of high-value food and agricultural products. With this Festival, SUSTA is hoping to introduce more high quality American foods to Chinese consumers.
