iDEALShanghai Event Review
MEMBERS of Shanghai Daily Readers' Club joined a cooking class at Vietnamese restaurant Aniseed Pho last Sunday afternoon. They learned to make Vietnamese rice paper rolls under the guidance of an Aniseed chef.
The information about this class was announced on July 11 and dozens of members signed up in the following two days with only eight lucky ones being chosen to participate in the class.
It did not take long for the eight members to break the ice and work together as a team. Throughout the event, the group enjoyed every bit of the cooking class from selecting materials to wrapping the rice paper rolls at the end.
After the two-hour class, the members not only tried authentic Vietnamese beverages, but also brought home a plate full of success.
In addition to Aniseed Pho, more restaurants serving various cuisines stand along Madang Road near Xintiandi Style. Shanghai Daily iDEALShanghai will continue to offer the latest lifestyle information and organize interesting activities for users.
