iDEALShanghai Event Review: Vietnamese Cooking Class
Last Sunday afternoon eight members of Shanghai Daily Reader’s Club joined a cooking class at Aniseed Pho, a Vietnamese restaurant in the city. They learned to make Vietnamese rice paper rolls under the guidance of an Aniseed chef. This free class was organized by iDEALShanghai.com, a lifestyle website run by Shanghai Daily.
The information about this class was announced last Friday and dozens of members signed up in the next two days, and only eight lucky ones were chosen to participate in the class.
It did not take long for the eight members to break the ice and work together as a team. Throughout the day, the group enjoyed every bit of the cooking class from selecting materials to wrapping the rice paper at the end.
After the two-hour class, our members not only tried authentic drinks from Vietnam, but also brought back with them a plateful of success.
In addition to Aniseed Pho, more restaurants serving various cuisines stand along Madang Road near XinTianDi Style. Shanghai Daily iDEALShanghai will continue to offer latest lifestyle information and organize interesting activities for uesers.
