Yuhuang Hill Footpath

Add:Yhuangshan Rd

From the peak of Yuhuang Hill, people can get a bird's eye view of West Lake and the Qiantang River since the hill stands in between them. It's also a great place for a gorgeous vista of sunrise or sunset.

The 239-meter-high hill used to host Jade Emperor Palace - a Taoist abbey enshrining the Jade Emperor, the highest god in heaven, according to Taoist beliefs. The palace featured the largest Taoist buildings in the country 400 years ago.

The hill was named Yuhuang, which means Jade Emperor.
