Located on top of Radisson Blu Hotel Shanghai New World, it offers some of Shanghai’s most breathtaking downtown views. The revolving restaurant completes one circuit every two hours, allowing diners to see People’s Park, the Huangpu River, the Suzhou Creek, Lujiazui and other landmarks.

But just as impressive as the scenery outside is Epicure’s authentic Indian cuisine. Monkfish fillet fried in butter with Masala potatoes, mint and pickles comes highly recommended. Another must-try is boneless chicken thigh with red chilli paste, yoghurt and mustard oil. As for starters, guests can’t go too wrong with the classic green pea soup.

Anup Singh, 38, and Nandan Singh, 32, are in charge of the Indian cooking in the kitchen. Their spices and ingredients are imported from India.
