Founded in 2007, Top Cellar has established itself in Beijing and Shanghai with an impressive chain of boutique wine stores. This two-floor, newly opened outlet is the fifth in Shanghai, offering excellent quality, medium-priced wines. It features more than 400 labels — around half of which are Top Cellar’s own. The Hong Kong owner is keen to select boutique wineries and new products from France and Italy, especially in regions such as Bordeaux, Bourgogne, Toscana, Piemonte and Chianti. By setting up at least one wine-tasting event every month, Top Cellar shares and contributes to developing wine culture and excitement for wines for local customers. The average price for a bottle is about 200 to 300 yuan and the cheapest bottle starts at 62 yuan. Currently, the shop offers buy-two-get-one-bottle-free for selective sparkling wines from France and you can get 20 percent off selected bottles of Champagne.
