Add:203 Danshui Rd
IWAS (Everybody, water, air, sunshine) is a small store on Danshui Road selling traditional Chinese handmade designs. Everything from coasters to jade stone and large good luck charms made from South American shells can be found here. The decorations might be quite pricey but worth it if you want good luck on your side. The most expensive object is a 198,000 yuan (US$30,063) brass Chinese Buddha, the only one of its kind in Shanghai. For tighter budgets, one can find small good luck charms and handmade jewelry at affordable prices. The former are priced at 300 yuan and the latter, such as earrings, are priced at 120 yuan. The store used to sell products from Southeast Asia, but a focus on traditional Chinese designs was more desirable so now the designers come from Taiwan and Beijing. Everything is manufactured in Taiwan.
