The 7th Halloween Carnival is under way in Shanghai Happy Valley and will run through November 11. College students and young office workers will have a great time exploring haunted houses in the amusement park and scream in excitement when they encounter “ghosts” played by about 400 park employees. They can also cry their hearts out by taking a ride on the breakneck Fireball Wooden Coaster and Diving Coaster.
The famous “Zombie Run,” which originated in the United States, took place in the park last Saturday. The event has become very popular among local Chinese.
Tips: Tickets for Halloween Carnival cost 80 yuan each from Monday to Thursday, 100 yuan from Friday to Sunday, and 120 yuan on October 30 and 31. Admission for couples costs 100 yuan for two on November 10 and 11.
